MITA's Manufacturers Program is designed to empower and support local informal manufacturers in the Merafong community. The program focuses on capacity building through training, market access to connect manufacturers with potential customers, and business support through mentorship. MITA advocates for the interests of informal manufacturers and organizes networking events to foster connections. The program covers a diverse range of informal manufacturers, including artisans crafting jewelry, textiles, baskets, woodcraft, ceramics, leather goods, beauty products, home décor, and food items.
